Being locked away for most of her life, Z is naïve and does not know how the world works, she is trusting unless there is a clear reason for her not to trust something such as another telling her. She does not like fighting or duelling though she does not make any effort to avoid it.
History (At least 200 words):
When young Z wandered away from her parents’ watchful eyes for just a moment but this was long enough for two masked men to snatch her away. They took her to a room in a run-down building and tied her to a chair, after the men left another entered dressed in a white coat. The men soon returned with strange machines, the man in the coat started sticking things to Z. The man turned the machine on and Z felt the greatest pain she’d ever felt, the machine would occasionally stop, allowing the man to write things down before it started again. The process went on for days before the man stood, shouting for his success. The man untied her, to allow him to test her powers, he held a sheet of paper and told her to destroy it. Weak, and barely able to stand she did nothing. The man walked towards her in anger and she reached out to place a finger on his chest, he paused for a moment before he was crushed.
The others in the room ran away leaving Z alone, when she had realised what she had done she collapsed. After recovering Z ventured outside of the building, avoiding people that may see the blood covering her body until it began to rain, she found a leaking pipe and used it to wash away what she could.
She returned to her parents who then began to get worried about her activities, they were worried she’d be taken again and so they kept her inside, not letting her leave the home. Z was determined to escape from her home and regain some freedom. One night she crafted the best costume she could from old clothing and a sewing kit and took to the streets as Z. She did not wear a mask, believing it only hindered her freedom and distanced her from the people she tried to protect.
Z became very popular, appearing on TV and in interviews, most of the people in the area she lived in knew her. She was then, at the age of 12, given a letter which would allow her to study and live at the Millennium Island Power School. Her parents would not sign it and allow her to go, after writing a letter to the school to alert the principal of her dilemma he decided to visit her parents himself.
After speaking to her parents and reassuring them that she was in safer hands than theirs they allowed her to leave the home. When at the school Z was invited to a party where she was offered a small glass of juice, once she had drunk this the drug dissolved in it begun to take effect, she passed out soon after.
She was taken to a room where a chip was inserted into her brain to limit her powers and stop her from harming herself or other people. As part of her parents’ agreement the principal gave her a private room under his office where she was to stay until she was called for private studying. After being found by other students she was challenged to a duel which she lost. After finding out she had lost the school gave up hope on their strongest student and stopped hiding her. Z was reluctant to fight or take part in tournaments and the school begun to give her less funding.
Before she could run out of money Z left the school and moved to England however she was attacked by men and used her powers to defend herself, the men reported this to the police who arrested her for using her powers.
She was sent to Millennium Island Power Prison where she was brainwashed into following the orders of her commander however the prison’s plan to use these prisoners as a defence force was stopped and the prisoners had to be evacuated and moved to an underground prison in Taverley.
